Summer Bucket List 2013

This summer Liam made a Summer Bucket List. This was so much for him he absolutely loved making it and planning his summer. It helped me too to know what fun activities Liam wanted to do so if we ran out of ideas we could just go look on his bucket list and plan a fun activity. I was so surprised of the activities Liam put on his summer bucket list. Lots of great, easy, and inexpensive ideas he came up with. We hope to keep this tradition every summer.

First Liam made the actual bucket we used. He took a sand bucket and made a label for it using markers and stickers. Then he wrote out on paper 10 activities he wanted to do this summer.

Then Liam took 10 clothes pins and I helped him write down each activity on the clothes pins.

Then we put all the clothes on the bucket. We left it on the table and each time we completed a summer activity from his bucket list we placed the clothes pin inside the bucket. So when we finished all the clothes pins were inside the bucket.

Birthday Party Fun!

Today the boys and I went to our friend Kevin's 1st birthday party! It was held at a club house and we enjoyed eating great food, swimming and meeting new friends. It was a gorgeous day perfect for a swimming. It was a baseball themed party and it was so adorable!

 

BBQ Fun & Bust A Move!

Today our playgroup held a family BBQ and it was lots of fun! I was on my way with the boys when Chris called me and said to turn around and pick him up he had the night off! I was completely shocked! Chris always works on Saturday nights this was the first time he had the evening off in 4 years.  The boys were so happy so we picked him up and headed to the BBQ. The boys had a blast playing on the water slide, playscape, and eating lots of food. Liam met a new friend named Josh and he played until he turned blue from the water. He really loves to play outside. Blake had a fun playing with the bubble machine, sprinkler and the hose. Just before we were going to leave he looked at me and ran directly into the sprinkler and was soaked and he laughed. So cute! He was having so much fun so we decided to stay a few more minutes. It was fun wish I took more pictures  but my friend took this one for us.

Later that evening Chris had to go back to work and cover a concert. Tone Loc, Young Mc & Rob Bass

Pool Party Playdate

Today Liam and I went to a fun pool party playdate that our friend Kim and her daughter Carmen hosted. Kim makes the best food for parties. We had shrimp pasta salad, fruit, chips, candy, punch and more. The kids had a blast swimming in the pool, driving Carmen's Jeep and jumping on the trampoline. Awesome weather such a fun summer playdate!
