Our favorite family tradition for Christmas is Advent our 25 Day countdown to Christmas! It keeps getting better each year and we always have a blast! This year along with the activity/theme, I added different bible verses for each day that we look up every morning. This is great for Liam to practice looking up scriptures in the Bible.
Day #1- ADVENT
Today we celebrated Advent. The boys learned why we celebrate Advent and what the wreath, evergreens and five candles stood for. They each colored their own wreath and candles and later we made our very own Advent wreath. The boys decorated it themselves and I was so impressed to see how much they enjoyed decorating. We had an awesome day celebrating the start of the Christmas season!
