Mommy enjoyed meeting all the other Mommy's and Liam had fun watching the kids play. Liam liked going down the slide. Liam Marshall Hoffman's first plane ride 02/28/2009 Liam flew from Tampa FL to his new home San Antonio TX! It was a 3 hour flight and he was such a good boy. We tried to help his ears during take off by giving him his bottle and we tried putting cups over his ears (plasic cups) he was very comfortable on the plane. He took a nap for an hour and was only fussy for a few minutes but then he calmed down quickly. Liam loved to look out the window during the landing. It was so much fun to see how much he enjoyed the flight and we were so happy he was content! Liam Marshall Hoffman's first time swimming was 02/26/2009 Liam loved it! We were staying at the Country Inn & Suites Hotel in St. Petersburg FL. We decided to let Liam try the pool. He smiled and splashed his feet around he had so much! Liam can't wait to meet them! Liam Marshall Hoffman was named after Nadia's brother (07/03/2008) Chris and I both decided on the name Liam one day while chatting in the car. We both liked that the name is unique yet short and easy to spell. We also liked the way Marshall fit for the middle name.  My brother Marshall has always supported Chris and I he is a wonderful person and I'm sure he and Liam will be close. Liam has an "Angel" for a big brother 07/03/2008 Liam has an older brother Tristan who was full-term stillborn at 41 weeks on February 27, 2007.

Liam's Wellness Check up

Today Liam had his 10 month wellness check up with his new Doctor Dr. Boecker. She was wonderful! Liam weighs 21 lbs  and is no w27 1/2 inches in length. The Dr. was very impressed with how well Liam is eating and that he is now using a sippy cup. He is right on track with his growth and development. She did notice a faint heart murmer. She was not concerned about it but said she would wait and check his heart again on his 12 month check up. If she finds the heart murmer again she'll have us see a specialist for a ultrasound just to check everything out to be sure. We are waiting to see what happens but please keep Liam in your prayers. Liam did so well during his visit. He's always making the nurses and the office staff laugh with his silly raspberry noises and giggles.

Liam Has Strep!

Please keep Liam in your prayers we just got back from the Doctor and found out he has strep. We were so surprised Liam has never been sick like this before. Saturday night around 11 a.m. he awoke screaming and vomited all over his crib and himself. I gave him a bath and changed his sheets and put him back down then an hour lately he started again and it just kept going. We called the Dr. around 2:30 a.m. and she gave us a prescription that helped him get back to sleep. The next day he still was sick but not as bad. He wouldn't eat a lot only drank water and the Pedialite. Tuesday we noticed that the didn't eat and refused to drink. Wednesday he had diaria badly and still not appetite and decided to take him to see the doctor. He will be on medicine and will try to eat some fruit, apple sauce, crackers anything he can. We hope he feels better soon. Both Chris and I were sick as well with vomiting. Chris was sick Monday evening and stayed out of work on Tuesday. I felt sick Sunday and still weak today from vomiting. Hopefully we'll all feel better soon.

Liam's Healthy Heart

We took Liam for his heart ultrasound today and he is perfect he has a very healthy heart. The Dr. explained that the noise they heard was normal actually and he doesn't have murmur. We were so relieved to hear it. Liam did wonderful during the ultrasound and sat so still the Dr. was very impressed by him. We celebrated afterwards with lunch and treated Liam to some chocolate milk for a special treat! We are so thankful for everyone for all their thoughts and prayers.

Liam's Schedule

Liam is doing great with keeping his schedule. He recently changed from having two naps to just one nap. I was hoping he would continue with a morning nap but he has just outgrown it. Liam goes to bed perfectly at night at 8 p.m. and awakes around 7:30 p.m. He takes an afternoon nap around 2:30 p.m. and sleeps usually until 5:30 p.m. 

Liam Said "Baby"

Today during lunch Liam said "Baby" while sitting with Daddy! We were so surprised he said it loud and clear. When we clapped for him for him and yelled "yay Liam!" he also did the same! It was too cute! Liam has also said Mama & Dadda in the past but not on cue like he did today.

Liam's Ultrasound

Liam will be going for a heart ultrasound on Friday Feb. 12th. Liam's Pediatrician heard a possible heart murmur again at his last appointment. She doesn't believe it's anything to worry too much about but she wants us to check  it out. I"m glad we are finally going because The doctors have been going back and forth sometimes they hear something then other times not. Hopefully everything will be fine please pray for us on Friday.
