Liam Has Strep!

Please keep Liam in your prayers we just got back from the Doctor and found out he has strep. We were so surprised Liam has never been sick like this before. Saturday night around 11 a.m. he awoke screaming and vomited all over his crib and himself. I gave him a bath and changed his sheets and put him back down then an hour lately he started again and it just kept going. We called the Dr. around 2:30 a.m. and she gave us a prescription that helped him get back to sleep. The next day he still was sick but not as bad. He wouldn't eat a lot only drank water and the Pedialite. Tuesday we noticed that the didn't eat and refused to drink. Wednesday he had diaria badly and still not appetite and decided to take him to see the doctor. He will be on medicine and will try to eat some fruit, apple sauce, crackers anything he can. We hope he feels better soon. Both Chris and I were sick as well with vomiting. Chris was sick Monday evening and stayed out of work on Tuesday. I felt sick Sunday and still weak today from vomiting. Hopefully we'll all feel better soon.

Liam's Healthy Heart

We took Liam for his heart ultrasound today and he is perfect he has a very healthy heart. The Dr. explained that the noise they heard was normal actually and he doesn't have murmur. We were so relieved to hear it. Liam did wonderful during the ultrasound and sat so still the Dr. was very impressed by him. We celebrated afterwards with lunch and treated Liam to some chocolate milk for a special treat! We are so thankful for everyone for all their thoughts and prayers.

Liam's Schedule

Liam is doing great with keeping his schedule. He recently changed from having two naps to just one nap. I was hoping he would continue with a morning nap but he has just outgrown it. Liam goes to bed perfectly at night at 8 p.m. and awakes around 7:30 p.m. He takes an afternoon nap around 2:30 p.m. and sleeps usually until 5:30 p.m. 

Liam Said "Baby"

Today during lunch Liam said "Baby" while sitting with Daddy! We were so surprised he said it loud and clear. When we clapped for him for him and yelled "yay Liam!" he also did the same! It was too cute! Liam has also said Mama & Dadda in the past but not on cue like he did today.

Liam's Ultrasound

Liam will be going for a heart ultrasound on Friday Feb. 12th. Liam's Pediatrician heard a possible heart murmur again at his last appointment. She doesn't believe it's anything to worry too much about but she wants us to check  it out. I"m glad we are finally going because The doctors have been going back and forth sometimes they hear something then other times not. Hopefully everything will be fine please pray for us on Friday.

Liam Now Mobile!

Liam is officially walking now! He's been walking off and on since he turned one holding on to objects and using push toys but now he's walking all by himself and loving it. He just needed more confidence that he could do it on his own and now that he has he's taken off! Always running with something in hands his favorite is his safari blanket. He loves to open and shut the cabinets in the kitchen and dressers (driving us crazy!) it's fun to see how much he loves discovering everything!

Liam's 1st Birthday!

Today Liam woke up to the entire house all decorated in Happy 1st Birthday signs, streamers, balloons. Liam LOVED it! He looked all around and smiled at the fun colors and balloons. We had breakfast and headed to Sea World in San Antonio for Liam's party. We decorated Liam's stroller up with Happy 1st Birthday streamers and Liam wore his Happy 1st Birthday outfit. When we arrived Liam was given a special Happy Birthday pin from Sea World. We met up with cousin Scott & Jackie, and Grammy. Liam had so much fun! We saw the dolphins, fish, sharks, penguins, whales seals. Liam LOVED the VIVA show which featured fun music, whales, and acrobats. He watched in amazement while the whales jumped tot he music and he loved watching the acrobats jump and dive in the water.  We were so surprised how much he enjoyed it. He made it the entire day ( 12 noon - 6 p.m.) It was such a beautiful day and the temperature was just right for us all to enjoy it. We bought Liam a Sea World shirt and some puppets that he LOVED! We all had a blast with the Birthday Boy!

When we came home we sang Happy Birthday to Liam and he at his yummy race car cake. It was so cool! It was red and had the #1 on the top and it said "Happy 1st Liam" on the bumper. Liam loved his chocolate cake and ice cream! 

After cake & ice cream Liam opened up all his presents! He received so many presents and loved opening them all.
